I am currently recruiting for a rapidly growing Software company based in Altrincham, who have been profitable every year since inception.
Having offices in the UK, New York, San Francisco, Sydney and Australia, companies around the world are using the business's software to improve efficiency, productivity and employee engagement.

Business Development Executive Role

* They are looking for someone to be a member of an outbound proactive sales team which will support new Account Based Marketing Campaigns. We're looking for someone who is confident, intelligent, dedicated and thorough; to provide the first point of contact with prospective clients.
* The primary focus of this role is, on a day-to-day basis, to investigate, research and contact relevant contacts within target accounts and open up conversations about our product & services from organisations based in the UK and Europe.
* From here you will qualify and find the relevant decision maker, and engage in a meaning and knowledgeable conversation with your contact in order to find a potential need or opportunity, with the objective being to generate qualified meetings for the new business sales team.
*As part of this role you will also identify target companies and organisations, through proactive lead generation and use of internal data and information.
* You will work very closely with the UK New Business Sales Team and a dedicated marketing function to ensure you get up to speed as quickly as possible.
* As your skills progress, you will gain the opportunity to get more involved in the sales process with the potential opportunity to progress into the new business sales team.

Business Development Executive Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree level qualification, but preferably relating to IT.
* At least two years' sales experience within the IT sector.
* Experience and proof of consistently achieving targets in a previous role.
* Knowledge of Intranets and Social Software.
* Have a dynamic, flexible working attitude. As a youthful and exciting company you need to be adaptable and open to change.
* New business focus.
* An understanding of basic IT infrastructure.
* An understanding of web technology
* Ability to cold call with confidence on the phone.
* Positive outlook and self-motivating.
