A household name and a vibrant, unique company culture. Our client is an industry leading, multi-product retailer who is looking for a passionate and inspiring Customer Restaurant Manager to join their team in Exeter.

My client has an exciting opportunity where you need to be flexible to travel nationally over the next 12 months.

So what does the role involve?

As Customer Restaurant Manager you will work closely with your team to create an exciting food offer for customers giving them a reason to return to the restaurant again.

  • Using your knowledge of the local market, you will be responsible for delivering a unique, nutritious and exciting food range to attract customers. You will actively contribute to the development and implementation of the store action plan working towards growing the brand as well as the food direction and strategy.

  • You will coach and guide your team, ensuring a high level of knowledge of products and food offerings with a consistent message delivered to customers. You will live and breathe the company's values and cultures, communicating this to your team.

  • Providing an exceptional level of customer service you will take time to interact with customers asking for feedback to help you continuously improve the offering and building relationships.

  • You will be responsible for the kitchen operations ensuring all food is in line with quality and food safety requirements, implementing relevant plans and reporting incidents. Working with your team you will take actions to contribute to sustainability.

  • You will be creative in developing and sharing ideas to implement within your team to ensure best practice within the restaurant.

What qualities will you need for this Customer Restaurant Manager role?

  • Ideally you will have experience within a restaurant or catering environment and are looking to develop your commercial and leadership skills.

  • You are a passionate foodie with experience of leading a team in a vibrant restaurant or a food retail environment. Knowledge of food production and food safety is essential.

  • You are motivated and inspired by people and are looking to join a company with the same values. You have a service minded attitude and believe exceptional customer service is a must!

  • You have experience creating and executing action plans and are able to understand and work with KPI's. You will need to be able to organise, plan and prioritise.


This Restaurant Manager role offers a salary of up to £33,000 plus great career progression opportunities with a vibrant, international, people focused company.
