About The Role
The role of a Finance Manager is to manage a team of Trainee Accountants and to support the General Accounting Manager to ensure financial compliance, maintenance of a strong control environment and continuous process improvements.
- Accurate and timely completion of month end activities
- Preparing monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation file ensuring completeness and accuracy, providing commentary for large and unexpected variances
- Prepare FRS 101 compliant Financial Statements
- Promote a culture of analysis and self-review within the team.
- Work together with General Accounting Manager and wider Finance team on existing and future projects
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with current knowledge of IFRS/ UK GAAP. Previous team management experience is essential. You could be looking for your first move out of practice or your next progressive commercial move. You must have great attention to detail a logical and reasoned approach to problem solving and a can-do attitude.
