We are partnered with a UK wide organisation that is currently looking for a new Manager to join their team in Canterbury

This position is full time working Monday to Friday. It will involve the following duties:

  • Ensure that all visitors and residents receive a warm, friendly and informative welcome
  • Responsibility for ensuring that all rooms are let and occupied for as much of the year as possible
  • Creative marketing plans to ensure the right audience is being attracted to the properties
  • You will be the first point of contact and will be responsible for ensuring that all enquiries are responded to promptly and efficiently
  • Ensure that any maintenance issues are reported and resolved in a timely manner
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are met
  • Undertake room inspections and report any issues
  • Work with external bodies to market the services offered and use promotions when necessary
  • Use local knowledge to ensure that visitors and residents are aware of local amenities and attractions to maximise their stay
  • Ensure that budgets are met

The skills/attributes that we are seeking are:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Confident meeting and greeting guests and using sales techniques to sell leases on the properties
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build rapport with customers and visitors
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • The ability to manage budgets
