Sage 200 Consultant - Midlands to the South

16 Apr 2017
16 May 2017
Contract Type
Full Time
Excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, and motivated Implementation Consultant who has worked with the Sage 200 product within a software reseller or perhaps implemented Sage 200 at an end user site, to join a thriving, growing UK Sage Partner with real career prospects and plenty of ongoing training.

You will also have the chance to learn other ERP software solutions, which will greatly increase your future employability and earnings, and to learn about project management with a view to taking your career in that direction and increasing your responsibilities. Salary to £45k plus car allowance and benefits.

You can be office based, or home based if that suits you better, provided you are happy to travel to client sites and to come into the head office near the Beds / Herts / Cambs borders once a week.

The company is a very well-known Sage reseller; they work with all the Sage accounting and ERP products, and have one of the best reputations in the market for staff retention and job satisfaction as well as supporting and training their people. The working environment here is relaxed and professional and your input will be recognised and rewarded.

Their Sage 200 team is busy and thriving with a talented team of Sage Consultants providing excellent service to their diverse client base. They look for people who can contribute - who have great listening and communication skills, who can understand a client's business requirements and processes and can translate these into their Sage 200 software needs. Equally you need good written skills to document these needs and your projects.

You will take Sage 200 projects through the whole implementation process from discovery and requirements, through modification and configuration, data migration, go-live, staff training and post implementation hand holding and support. You will be expected to maintain your knowledge of the latest Sage 200 developments and to study for any certifications that you need.

Ideally you will be degree educated (accounting qualifications also highly regarded) with full Sage 200 software implementation experience from a software reseller, or from an internal implementation, a clear understanding of business processes and the ability to help with pre-sales demonstrations where required. You should be able to contribute to a team environment and to share your knowledge and experience. You will need sound knowledge of the Sage 200 financial modules or a background or qualification in finance.

This is a super company, with a very, very good environment where you will blossom and your career will go in the right direction.

If you have Sage 200 implementation and functional skills and would like to explore this opportunity, please get in touch with Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing to discuss the role in more detail, or to apply.
