My Client, an award winning Magento eCommerce company in Greater Manchester, is currently looking for a Graduate PHP Developer willing to learn Magento to work on a permanent basis.

The company focus on ecommerce, which they currently work with a number of multi-million pound businesses. They have won multiple awards for their work, have a very family-feel environment, and provide a benefits such as paid nights out, a staff breakout area with games, flexi time, and Magento 2 Partner Training.

The details below will be what you can expect to do once you are trained fully in Magento and gives an insight into what skills you will pick up;

Role Overview:

You will be a creative problem solver, with a passion for new technology, and a deep knowledge of Magento. You will be a key part of the development team working with eCommerce clients worth multi-millions of pounds, with day to day tasks including mostly back-end development of the Magento functionality, module development, and custom functionality.


* Coding to written technical specs
* Investigate and analyse reported bugs
* perform maintenance development, and correct the bugs that you identify
* Work with other developers in regular code reviews
* Create and develop test plans, and manage unit tests and scripts
* Create and maintain technical documents using defined templates

Required Skills:

* PHP experience
* MySQL, particularly EAV data structures
* JavaScript Frameworks
* Version Control Systems
* experience of development lifecycle

* Personal development plan with Magento 2 partner training
