Manpower is partnering with a global leader in distribution of speciality chemicals in their search for an Area Sales Manager of Pharmaceutical Ingredients to join their team. Tasked with overseeing the M62 corridor region (North), the Area Sales Manager will be integral in delivering their Chemistry products and related cutting-edge services.

Placing a huge emphasis on treating suppliers like partners and ensuring all stakeholders benefit from working with them, the business are innovating constantly to ensure they deliver on client demand.

As an Area Sales Manager for the M62 corridor, you will be travelling extensively throughout the North of the region, and your primary challenges in this diverse role will include:

*Identifying new business opportunities, profiling and selling to new markets and products
*Completion of regular reviews to make sure you are hitting targets and meeting budget
*Quickly establishing relationships with existing key accounts, ensuring you understand the clients need and where you can identify new opportunity to meet those needs
*Create opportunities for different departments

In this field-based role, you will be given the tools and specialist knowledge required to maximise the high-potential of the region. To that end, the company is keen to work with someone that can build on the following attributes and experience;

*Past experience supplying raw materials into Pharmaceutical companies
*Able to build and maintain strong relationships quickly with relevant stakeholders e.g. Procurement
*Passion and drive for bringing in new business
*Innovative mind-set, able to think quickly on your feet
*Self-motivating and can work autonomously to develop new business
*Commercially astute with a good understanding of the specification sales process
*Organisation and attention to detail in all aspects of your work
*Essential you are able to work effectively within all levels of an organisation

In return for the above skills and experience, the company will provide further training and development around their products. For your reference, salary is circa. £45,000 and comes with a competitive package, along with the opportunity to join this truly global market-leader!
