Food & Beverage Manager
My client is a friendly golf club. An exciting role is available for a Food & Beverage Manager at this prestigious Private Members Golf Club in the suburbs of London.
The ideal candidate will have a background in a high-quality Club/Hospitality environment and have great levels of self-motivation and initiative. Responsibilities will include control and management of the day-to-day running of the house and beverage operation, together with maintenance of the Clubhouse, bar, lounge and function rooms.
You will need to have a lively, out-going personality, excellent man-management and communication skills and an analytical understanding of finance. Most importantly, you need to have a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service with a 'hands on' approach
The role’s key accountabilities are:
A proven track record of bar management, financial management, stock control and the management of staff in this environment.
A high level of personal and professional Quality Assurance standards, including an attention to detail. This will include compliance with Environmental Health Standards, and Health and Safety legislation
Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained throughout the Clubhouse premises.
A strong work ethic, the ability to work long hours, and a commitment to succeed
Experience of managing premises security and fire systems
To communicate effectively with, and manage the catering operation at all levels when necessary.
A good level of Information Technology skills
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 depending on qualifications & experience
