Programme delivery manager
Delivery Programme managers - Required for this lovely niche tour operator based on the outskirts of Cardiff. They are looking for experienced travel professionals with a operations, Administration or reservations background. They will pay between 18/23k + benefits for this Monday to Friday position.
Delivery programme manager duties
-Dealing with all the operational duties of group tours within the UK, European and Worldwide destinations.
-Booking flights directly with the airline and third parties, hotels, transfers, day tours, events etc.
-Dealing with any pre departure changes and add-ons, including names changes, special requests etc
-Be the main contact between the group leaders and the suppliers
-Sending out all the information in a timely manner
-Dealing with any issues when the group is travelling that the tour leader is unable to resolve
Delivery programme managers skills required
-Tour operator or retail travel background
-Experience in operations, administration or sales within the travel industry
-Enthusiastic, highly motivated, dedicated and approachable
-Ability to organise and prioritise work efficiently and effectively
-Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative
-Maintain composure when dealing with stressful and difficult clients / suppliers
