Berry Recruitment are looking a Sous Chef on a temporary to permanent basis for our client in Great Barr.

The popular and well known hotel are looking to grow their well established kitchen team.

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef / Senior Sous to work in a highly prestigious venue. You will be required to manage a brigade of chefs in a busy and fast paced environment, covering mainly be conferences and events so a strong working background in this area is desirable.

The venue has a fantastic reputation and understandably high standards, meaning the right candidate must have a passion for food, great culinary knowledge and above all be able to create amazing tasting food delivered with style.

This role will require a chef with experience in high end restaurants or a banqueting. You will have the ability to lead and organised a team in a busy restaurant environment. You will be able to inspire people to be creative including new ideas and product development. Overall you will take a leading role in making sure our clients strict food safety and health and safety are adhered to.

Shifts will be spread over 7 days including some weekends and bank holidays.

Full time hours, wage reflective of skills and experience.
