Senior Insight Manager. My client, a media company with over $1bn turnover, is in need of a Senior Insight Manager who will be responsible for delivering business critical actionable insights to influence the direction of the company's Product, Content and Commercial strategies.
It is essential that you have demonstrable experience of influencing organisation strategy, utilising modern research techniques in addition to an expert level understanding of how and when to use Quant and Qual data to greatest effect.
This area of the business specialises in understanding the consumer (and their relationship with the products) and campaign effectiveness. They are the 'go-to people' for trends in consumer behaviour and the subsequent possibilities and risks to the business.
- Develop and communicate audience insight and commercial understanding
- Work with Business Partners and stakeholders to support fact-based decision making
- Contribute audience insight that drives high level strategic transformation in applications, products and services
- Deliver research, projects and tools in accordance with the Insight plan
- Run/oversee projects and programmes of work which deliver useable and insightful findings to the business (from fully interrogated briefs to purposed and digestible outputs) employing different methodologies
- Provide analysis, interpretation and reporting of audience Insight assets (existing and ad-hoc)
- Exploit existing investment in tools and capabilities, including providing access and training
- Manage a growing team of experienced Insight Executives
- Collaborate with other sub-teams to provide a 'joined up' insight and analytics response to briefs
- Develop strong relationships with partner agencies
- Establish and maintain a network of stakeholders across the business
- Help stakeholders understand the insights, and what they mean to the business
If you have experience delivering business critical insight to Media companies, and have worked client side, in addition to having the ability to make executive decisions while training and mentoring staff then this could be the perfect role to step up in to.
