Our client specialises in the provision of maintenance, condition based monitoring and reliability services within a diverse range of manufacturing environments, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, their client is now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly self-motivated and experienced Maintenance Manager - Reliability Engineering to work within their prestigious manufacturing operation.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and tasked with the development and delivery of the operational Asset Care strategy through the reduction of unplanned losses and improvement of the asset life cycle, the successful candidate will be responsible for the identification and implementation of RCM, RCA and CBM strategies and for their effective communication throughout the business to ensure the achievement of on-site delivery targets.

You will additionally be responsible for the implementation of Optimised Maintenance Strategies within the business, driving the lowest cost solutions for optimised reliability across the whole site through effective predictive and preventative maintenance strategies, and for implementing Engineering improvement procedures and standards across all assets within the engineering function after a rigorous review and completion of the change control process to ensure that required outputs are sustainable.

Other duties of the Maintenance Manager - Reliability Engineering will include the implementation of a dedicated technical skills and people development programme across the business, and the management of Contractors and OEM's as required whilst ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and site policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for the implementation of CMMS (SAP) system improvements through the introduction of smart full data capture activities across assets within your responsibility and also for the implementation of effective analysis reporting using systems such as CMMS, MII, OEE toolkit and the in-house on-line CBM system.

To be considered for this varied and challenging role it is envisaged that the successful candidate will demonstrate at least 5 years' experience in driving reliability improvements and asset care optimisation strategies within a busy manufacturing environment, having successfully applied continuous improvement tools and problem solving techniques and being confident in continually striving to identify and drive opportunities for improvement and maximising the reliability of assets within a fast paced and pressurised FMCG environment. Realistically qualified to at least degree level in Reliability Engineering, Asset Care Competence or an appropriate engineering discipline along with demonstrable skills and experience in RCM, FMECA, Vibration Analysis and predictability tools and techniques.
