Business Development Manager (within M25 remit)
We are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager for a specialist Concrete Repair and Liquid Roofing Contractor based in the Midlands who cover Nationally within the UK.
The role is developing the liquid roofing side of the business, bringing on new clients and looking to extensively grow this.
Ideal candidate will predominantly be within the M25 corridor, but with National Remit. The role will entail field work along with working from office/home.
Objective of Role:
To identify and develop tender bid opportunities that increase the company’s presence and market share within the concrete repair and refurbishment market via strategic marketing and targeted sales activity, selling to specifiers and clients in accordance with agreed strategies and business plans. The role will also involve new business development to further extend the companies client list.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Plan and carry out marketing and sales activities to agreed budgets, values, market mix and timescales.
Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone and email together with personal visits.
Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support and liaison with the internal team.
Monitor and report on opportunities and provide concise and relevant management information.
Maintain and nurture relationships with suppliers within the agreed markets.
Maintain the computerised customer and prospect database.
Develop ideas for expanding the company’s range of services into new market sectors, in conjunction with the directors.
Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.
Analyse the interactivity of potential customers via online media channels.
Liaise with other company functions and attend meetings where appropriate in order to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.
Maintain and enhance personal and professional development via training as agreed with the directors.
Monitor and report on other business/market opportunities.
Salary and bonus structure is negotiable based on experience. Company car, laptop, mobile and other perks of the job will be included. Salary bracket can range from £40000 - £65000+ with OTE earnings up to £80000+ with lucrative bonus structures in place to earn more based on performance.
