Our client based in Radstock is looking for an Internal Sales Person to join their Customer Support Team. The company is a B2B supplier of cloud-based and on premise, biometric time and attendance and workforce management systems. They supply a range of systems and products to techie and non-techie people in a wide range of businesses and market sectors.

The main part of the role will be responding to sales enquiries through the complete sales cycle to order closure. There will be some outbound calling and telephone prospecting and you will be responsible for generating revenue by responding to and following up sales enquiries, triaging/qualifying prospects to determine their requirements, demonstrating systems, quoting and closing orders as well as establishing initial contact with specifically-targeted prospective customers and following up prospects contacted during outbound email campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
This is an office based role, there is little or no requirement for customer visits. To sell effectively this way it is essential to be able to establish a relationship with customers and prospects quickly over the phone.
System demonstrations are also carried out online which means remotely connecting to prospect's pcs, this again requires an element of trust on the prospect's part so the trust and relationship is really important.

1.Qualifying new inbound enquiries to ascertain an initial set of requirements.
2.Understanding, assessing and documenting customer needs / pain points and identifying the appropriate solution to satisfy those needs.
3.Giving system demonstrations to prospects using remote desktop tools and evaluating reactions / interest.
4.Preparing quotations for systems or quoting prices for products using standard sales procedures and tools.
5.Following up on previous contacts with customers and prospects to progress enquiries through the sales cycle.
6.Follow-up activity on existing prospects and outstanding quotes that may have been quoted by others.
7.Closing enquires and obtaining and processing orders.
8.Ensuring that the CRM system is kept up-to-date with customer and prospect contact information.
9.Outbound calling to specific organisations and contacts to establish potential requirements and interest in the company's products and solutions. (This is mainly to investigate the needs of similar organisations in the market sectors served by the company and is in essence prospecting for business).
10.Reporting and completing system records for sales opportunities in terms of quantity, wins and losses in-line with standard processes and tools.
11.Maintaining and developing relationships with key accounts to protect against customer attrition and to upsell additional products and services to increase the value of customers.
12.Feeding back marketing intelligence gained during customer / prospect interactions.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

*Good general education with high levels of literacy and numeracy.
*Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in different ways, including: email, telephone, on-line chat and in-person.
*Able to communicate with a confident and sociable demeanour and in a way that will create trust and rapport without face-to-face contact.
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
*Proven, successful sales experience.
*Able to work under pressure to achieve sales targets.
*Ability to work under own initiative, organise, plan and prioritise work.
*Highly dependable and able to meet deadlines.

Desired
*A good understanding of IT particularly web-based products.
*Ability to understand, demonstrate and communicate parameterised software products.
*Ability to work within a team.
*Capable of solving problems.
*Flexible and willing to carryout tasks from a wider remit if required.
*Possession of a full driving license for a car and being a car owner are desirable as there may be need to make an occasional customer visit.
