Badenoch & Clark are currently sourcing exemplary candidates to assume the role of Senior Finance Business Partner within an ever-expanding company based out of Brighton. Reporting into the Finance Director you will make decisions and provide support in congruence with existing policies and procedures.
As Finance Business Partner, you will be required to employ the analytical skills necessary to deliver accurate and dependable forecasting for the business in order to supplement the monthly forecast and the annual planning process. You must have the communicative capabilities to translate technical information in a manner that can bridge financial knowledge gaps as well as build rapport at all levels of the finance team. In order to deliver high quality management information it is essential that you work proficiently across various functions within the business as well as individually.
Key Accountabilities
*Lead a team of 2 finance professionals in the delivery of high quality financial planning and analysis
*Review monthly management accounts, in accordance with deadlines and Group financial processes and reporting guidelines. Oversee investigation and reporting on variances to budget and forecast including development of corrective action plans.
*Provide performance commentary to the company on actuals versus budget and forecast.
*Prepare the annual financial budgets and quarterly re-forecasts.
*Ensure that subsequent re-forecasts reflect impact of highlighted variations with appropriate explanations.
*Ensure timely delivery of monthly financial management reporting pack, with appropriate and consistent explanation of significant variations from budget and latest re-forecast.
*Ensure management accounting, budgeting and forecasting processes are continually reviewed
*Ensure finance is at the heart of all major decision making and that they are optimised through high quality financial understanding, insight and analysis.
*Help to improve efficiency and effectiveness by providing insight in a proactive manner, suggesting, agreeing and embedding long term improvement metrics and targets
*Provide financial expertise into the delivery of high quality operational investment cases, ensuring alignment of new initiatives to long term strategic plans
*Ensure annual incentive schemes are accurately assembled, calculated, reported and paid
*Analyse and seek ways to enhance and improve the company's cost of acquisition
*Support the Finance Director in the delivering the Finance work stream of a major new business initiative


*Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)
*Broad experience in senior finance roles in a growing business, including financial control, business partnering and FP&A experience.
*Demonstrable experience of; working with senior level stakeholders up to board level and producing investment appraisals including complex financial modelling
*High levels of IT skills (Financial Systems, Excel and Word).
