We have a vacancy for a suitably qualified payroll professional to head up our payroll function. Sitting within the HR team and reporting to the HR Manager, with the support of and HR and Payroll Administrator, you will oversee the processing of our monthly payroll for approximately 440 staff.

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy and the ability to work under pressure to meet statutory deadlines and targets.

As a minimum, you will have 3 years payroll experience in a similar role and whilst a recognised payroll qualification is desirable, your expertise and knowledge gained from a comparable post will also be recognised.

The ability to process and make pensions returns is essential; at BCoT we service two pension funds depending on the employee’s role. Applicants with previous experience of the Local Government and/or Teachers Pension Scheme will be of particular interest.
