Sage 200 Application Support Consultant for top reseller on the Hampshire / Surrey / Berkshire borders, based near Basingstoke but convenient for Bracknell, Reading, Fleet, Winchester, Guildford, Newbury and Farnborough.

This is such a great company, the team of people are amongst the best you can find in the Sage community, the Support Manager is a pleasure to work for and you will be busy and challenged. Salary to £30k, plus life assurance, 5 weeks' holiday and plenty of investment in on-going training to keep your skills up to date.

As a Sage 200 Support Consultant, you will respond to a variety of client requests which can be easy ones, such as onboarding new Sage 200 users, answering questions about the features of Sage 200 or assisting clients with simple problems, to complex ones, such as validating user-reported software problems, seeking workarounds to issues, describing how to perform application tasks, analysing unusual software behaviour, troubleshooting, and escalating problems to the right resource.

You will document requests and responses, capture common requests for shared use, take new recruits through a tour of Sage 200 and generally supply the clients with excellent service. You will also support a variety of Sage 200 add-on products.

This company is one of the top 5 Sage resellers in the UK and they work with the full range of software across Sage 200, Sage CRM, Sage ERP X3 and Sage 1000, so you will have the chance to learn other areas of the Sage suite in the future. Right now, they really need someone with Sage 200 support skills though, who can fit in with the team and be productive straightaway, as they are very busy.

They are looking for a Sage 200 Support Analyst who is well organised, loves problem solving, has a good manner with clients, can prioritise and has good troubleshooting skills and can analyse queries and draw conclusions to resolve software issues. The key thing here is client satisfaction, so you need to be patient and persevere to come up with solutions.

The company will invest in you, give you on-going training and personal development and allow you to grow a career in IT software. They have an excellent standing with their customers and their partners, a culture of teamwork, professional and personal growth, and an ethos of a good work / life balance for all their staff.

If you have Sage 200 Support skills you will learn with the best here and will get great direction, guidance and mentoring. To find out more, contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing.
