Job Title: Management Accountant – Reporting/Analysis
Location: Leeds
Salary: Up to £45,000 dependent on experience + 3% flexible benefits + on target bonus of 10% + contributory pension

We’re now looking for a Management Accountant to join our growing team. This role will be to produce regular and consistent financial information to help the business understand its financial performance. As the company has expanded rapidly a key part of the role will also be to identify and implement improvements in processes to ensure the finance department keeps pace with the rest of the company.

You’ll be responsible for:

•Provision of high quality analysis to support the business, to include but not limited to income reporting, client profitability, operational profitability, IRR analysis, and other associated analytical insight and KPIs for the business and investors
•Support team to produce high quality entity level statutory accounts
•Support team to produce quarterly and ad hoc external reporting
•Identification, effective tracking and active management of any financial risks & opportunities
•Work closely with MI to support the development of appropriate financial KPI dashboard for the business
•Work closely with Pricing to support key decision making

Budgets & reforecasts
•Support the Finance Business Partners to produce robust and highly accurate financial plans for business area, to include but not limited to forecasts, budgets, strategic planning and scenario planning

Process Improvements/Controls
•Identify and implement process improvements where required
•Work across the team to simplify any relevant month end & forecasting processes, to free up resource to focus on the more value-adding activities
•Work with Finance Business Partners to improve the consistency of information reported across the business

You’ll need to evidence the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Qualified Accountant (preferably CIMA or ACA)
• Previous experience of financial reporting and budgeting
• Experience in a Financial Services role is desirable
• Strong excel/modelling skills essential
• Commercial decision making/analysis
• Stakeholder management
• Prior experience of statutory accounts preparation desirable

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels across all areas of the business with stakeholders at various levels
• Good organisation skills – ability to work under pressure
• Pro-active and ability to work effectively on their own initiative, with minimal guidance
• Ability to grasp complex issues quickly and communicate clearly and effectively
