The Procurement division of the SF Group is currently working with a Logistics company based in Leicestershire who are recruiting a Purchasing Coordinator reporting directing to the Procurement Manager of Technology. Working as part of an informal culture where self development and personal growth is the business goal.

As the Purchasing Coordinator you will be responsible for issuing and managing RFP/RFQ process to suppliers, supplier management of order book management, order progression and supplier performance review. Maintenance of procurement records, raising purchase orders in SAP for the relevant departments. Maintaining and compiling monthly reports to finance relating to revenue, margins, rebates, recharges, stock-cost and statistical information. Manage designated purchasing categories ensuring the best overall value and service. After a time within the role you will also support the Business Development functions, managing the quotes and material requirements for new business, including costing templates.

The successful candidate will ideally be working to a recognised purchasing certification, or already have this, with a minimum of 5 years experience, and a knowledge of packaging would be advantageous.
You will have excellent communication skills, with strong organisational skills to deal with internal and external customers and to negotiate contracts.
You will also need to have an analytical mind, with good numeracy skills with the ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Office Products and SAP.

This is a permanent position paying up to £35k P/A working Monday-Friday.
