Revive Fashion Careers are recruiting for a market leading garment production company in North London who are looking for a talented Production Pattern Cutter/Sealing Tech.

This role is for a multi product company dealing on soft separates, tailoring, and jersey.

Daily Responsiablilities

• To create packs from new orders and document all information through to handing over to production

• Create specs from 1st fit onwards and to update, amend and ensure all details are correct though to production

• Ensure costing sheets and make notes are up to date and do new costings every time the fit has been amended

• To do amendments requested by clients for potential orders and get amended costings to the sales and production team

• To work closely with sales, production and design teams to suggest ways of reducing costs on garments

• To work closely with production and design teams to resolve make issues and ensure the integrity of the design is maintained

• To work closely with Creative Pattern Cutters and maintain client standards and requirements

• To amend patterns from Buying Sample stage through to Factory Samples

• Work closely with clients Garment Techs

• Fill in sample declaration forms

• To action fit samples in the correct cloth and ensure all instructions are correct

• To ensure all fit and make requests have been actioned before sending fit sample for approval

• Must ensure critical path is maintained

• To ensure you have enough bulk trims and cloth for fit samples, wash tests, reference samples and factory samples

• Document due dates for cloth and trims and chase when necessary to ensure fit samples are not delayed

• To arrange for graded patterns to make size sets for approval

• Fill in Graded Specs and add further measurement points for the factory to follow if necessary

• Ensure fit samples and patterns measure to spec

• Convert and save graded pattern sent by the graders

• Check the graded patterns to ensure they have been graded correctly

• Check Factory and Verve samples before handing over to production and amend pattern where necessary

• Create make sheets for factories and send factory pack to factories

Candidate:

• Must have excellent time keeping and organisation skills

• Must be computer literate and have good knowledge of Excel, Photoshop/Illustrator

• Must have knowledge of CAD Pattern Cutting Programs - VetiGraph is preferred(training would be provided if necessary)

• Must be able to work in a team and ensure constant and clear communication

• Must be able work quickly, accurately and efficiently

• Have basic grading knowledge

• Have minimum of 5 years of experience
