Sales Development Manager
Sales Development Manager selling alcoholic drinks into the on-trade channel across the North London territory.
My client is one of the country's leading companies in the alcoholic drinks industry and are offering an exciting opportunity as a field based Sales Development Manager. The role will involve selling the company's product range into the On-Trade channel within the North London territory. We are interested in talking to people who have experience of operating within a field sales role selling directly into the On-trade channel and who have a proven track record of bringing on new business whilst also maintaining excellent relationships with current accounts.
The successful candidate will possess excellent selling and negotiating skills with emphasis on closing to obtain targeted sales & profit growth. You must enjoy working autonomously, be willing to travel as required, have a high level of energy and commercial awareness, be self-motivated and, most importantly, overcome obstacles to always deliver results. Due to the nature of our industry, evening and weekend working is to be expected in order to ensure success in the role. You will be expected to identify and convert opportunities to profitable business in line with the Regional Development Plan and to provide existing customers with quality support and advice on the development of drink sales within their business. You will also be entirely responsible for your P&L, building new business and growing existing accounts. As such, you will have real ambition; energy, enthusiasm and a drive to succeed.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE + additional benefits.
