We are looking for Credit Analyst (CRE) for one of our Clients to join their growing team in their main branch in Central London.Our client is an International Public Sector banking and financial services company.


This is a multi-faceted role which will primarily act to support the senior team members with Commercial Real Estate ("CRE") transactions, including both direct CRE-secured lending and CRE Warehouse, with some secondary involvement in Leveraged Lending transactions. The principal responsibilities include assisting on the evaluation of new transactions, managing portfolio of existing loans, monitoring ongoing syndication activities together with the front office, and determining slotting scores for UK capital reporting.


To provides upport to the HeadRetail Credit in all operational areas of the Retail CreditDepartment.

• Assess new CRE transactions both direct lending as well as warehouse. This includes an independent assessment and recommendation on the credit quality of proposed transactions including rating and credit appetite.

• Monitor existing portfolio of CRE transactions including periodic reporting of risk profiles, trends, and concentrations.

• Prepare timely and insightful annual reviews including assessment of performance against underwritten base case projections and key CRE metrics

• Assess progress of syndication efforts against Credit Committee approved timelines and prepare regular presentations for senior Credit management

• Prepare an independent assessment and recommendation on the credit quality of proposed transactions including proposed rating and credit appetite

• Collaborate with origination business teams on structuring and documentation for proposed transactions

• Review of due diligence and involvement in due diligence sessions including asset site visits

• Be the first point of call regarding credit-related matters for bank portfolio

• Ensure adherence to credit and other relevant internal policies and practices

• Review and verification of compliance certificates, debt covenants, and financial accounts.


Knowledge of UK real estate Market and Balance sheet analysis

Knowledge of Lending Products available in the Market for Commercial Real Estate

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Knowledge of UK regulatory framework, principles and rules

Knowledge of UK lending environment

Minimum six years experience in underwriting or assessing CRE credit proposals, experience of UK market will be preferred.

Knowledge of fraud Detection Tools/systems like Hunter/CIFAS
