Head Chef £30-35K South Suffolk Coast
We are currently looking to recruit a Head Chef for this prestigious hotel based on the Suffolk Coast. You will manage a dedicated kitchen team and be involved in the launch of a new restaurant. You will source local food creating traditional and fine dining dishes. You will use your experience of working in a steakhouse / grill to put together a varied menu from local supplies. In addition to the restaurant you will also get involved with special events and corporate functions.
The successful candidate will need to;
- Have recent proven experience within a Head Chef role
- Have had previous experience supervisor and training staff
- Creative with recipes - imaginative and able to come up with new ideas.
- Passionate about working with and developing a new business
- Have experience of working in a steakhouse/Grill
- Good experience of cooking fresh, locally sourced food.
- Understand the entire workings of a kitchen/front of house
- Be able to work within a budget
