Our client, a long established business, are currently recruiting for a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic HR & Training Assistant who can demonstrate outstanding team leadership within a demanding fast paced and fast growing leisure environment.
Reporting to the Group HR & Training Manager, you will be tenacious and flexible in approach with excellent demonstrable people management skills. You will be a driven self-starter with a "can-do" attitude and solutions led approach to your management style. This role is also to assist in equipping employees with the knowledge, practical skills and motivation to carry out work-related tasks and to help with the ongoing, long-term improvement of employees’ skills, enabling them to fulfil their potential within the organisation.
As a successful candidate, you will be training focussed, manage key cases and be accountable to deliver and support on Employment Relations. This is as well as supporting the team to deliver excellent HR and Training outputs and by doing so support the Company with the delivery of a fully competent HR and Training function. Main responsibilities: Advising, liaising and coordinating all HR policies, procedures and training Ensuring the management team adheres to the requirements of all current HR guidelines and legislation, and completes regular training of the management teams to ensure knowledge is kept up to date. Design, development, implementation and delivery of continuous training plans for the group. Continuous delivery, design and development whilst making recommendations for continuous improvement of the induction programme for all new starters. Effective management of training resources including updating and archiving as required for both workshops and eLearning. Develop and implement new eLearning courses for department and business needs, whilst effectively managing the administration for the site. Oversee and manage the recruitment and training processes from start to finish. Writing and implementing additional staff and management training programmes and co-ordinating with the teams Good working knowledge of HR practices, and/or have the ability to verify procedures to be followed as required.
Working towards CIPD and/or training qualification would be beneficial and previous experience within a similar role would be extremely advantageous. The role will require an astute, experienced individual to manage several different strands within the scope of the HR function.
