Our client an exclusive private members club based near Chertsey, Surrey are currently looking for talented chefs at CDP/ Sous Chef level to join their experienced kitchen team.

A pinnacle role in the kitchen team that will assist the Sous/Executive Chef with the smooth running of the operation to the Company`s standards and clients satisfaction.

They provide the very best service money can buy, the members experience a setting similar to a small 5 star hotel with 6 letting rooms within the club. The members often eat out at the very best restaurants as a matter of course, so subsequently the clubs offerings need to be inline with this exceptional level of quality.

- They have a "fine dining restaurant" where They cook a more intricate style of food, depending on what the members want.
-They cook with the very finest ingredients sourced from the best suppliers
-If there is something a member wants, they will source it especially for them.
- They also have a comprehensive Bar menu, inc. monthly specials, the same quality ingredients are used across the board so from the Club Sandwich, to the Burger, to the Fresh 20oz Dover Sole, to the Cottage Pie and Fish and Chips, all are prepared from the same amazing ingredients.

Accountabilities of the role as follows:
- Assisting in the day to day running of all outlets with the chef.
- To assist the Head Chef to order supplies and to ensure that they are properly issued and accounted for.
- Helping keep the costs down, i.e. food wastage, correct ordering, correct storage and stock rotation.
- To ensure that all areas are left as clean and tidy as is reasonably practical at all times.
- To control a given section to the standards laid down.
- To carry out the prep needed, to the standards laid out and assist in the smooth running of the kitchen service.
- To attend meetings and training courses as may be necessary from time to time.
- Keeping up the standards of all food areas with regard to hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ensuring all kitchen practises are of an acceptable standard in order to achieve the required G.P%.
- To report and take necessary action for any incident of fire, accidents, theft, loss, damage, unfit food or any other irregularities.

The client is looking for chefs with passion and the drive to contribute ideas to menus and enhance the levels of food already produced.

You will work on a 5/7 day basis, straight shifts.
