HOURS : Full time permanent position 0800hrs / 1800hrs Monday to Friday
SALARY : Including OTE £40,000+
We are an industry leader in the provision of Worldwide Logistics services. Sealane has developed into one of the most dynamic and innovative UK based European Logistics providers. Operating a substantial fleet of trucks and trailers we specialise in providing logistics solutions to a wide range of industry sectors, but principally the Food, Drink, and FMCG industries.
The position is based at our modern HQ facility in St Albans and will be within our Sales & Business Development team reporting to the Sales Director.
The role requires;
New business Sales canvassing.
Targeting Logistics Managers and Supply Chain managers by Telephone and email.
Preparing presentations and Quotes for new business.
Visiting prospective clients in the UK.
Opening Credit accounts for new clients.
Account management and business development.
Extensive Industry and Sales training and mentoring will be provided to ensure the successful candidate achieves the appropriate targets.
It is essential that the successful candidate is both persuasive and forceful with;
Sales experience plus an interest in European Logistics.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
The ability to make structured, effective cold calls and develop relationships with your prospects.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
IT & Computer literate.
Strong tenacity and work ethic and motivated to succeed.
Languages (French or German) an advantage but not essential.
