General Catering Manager

£21,000 Per annum

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced General Catering Manager to join our well established client based just outside of Chippenham. This role offers you a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate your personal flair and ambition. The General Catering Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of the site staff and all its facilities by efficient management of the function on site.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

As Head of Department, you will be expected to:

  • Proactively manage the team. Responsible for recruiting, supporting, training and developing the team in order to deliver an efficient, high quality service.
  • Ensure ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to ensure operational excellence.
  • Maintain, order and control stocks within budget.
  • Ensure operation activities meet requirements in respect of COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal requirements, environmental policies and duty of care to customers and employees.
