The main purpose of this role is to design and co-ordinate a variety of collaterals for the University campus. The collaterals produced will be for both internal and external audiences and will include posters, leaflets, flyers, prospectuses, banner stands, digital ads, email templates and more. Working closely with the Marketing and Communications Officer, you will ensure that all design requirements are met within the agreed timeline.

Description

Developing and producing printed and electronic marketing materials

Producing additional marketing communications, such as flyers, prospectus and recruitment fairs -related projects

Co-ordinate design projects from initial brief to delivery

Maintaining and updating general marketing collateral/materials

Keeping the campus brand guidelines current, accurate and consistent, and maintaining the use of the brand across all company stationary and support materials

Assisting with the production of promotional products

Aiding with photo shoots and video production

Assisting with maintenance of the image library

Liaising with Advertising and Media agencies to co-ordinate advertising plans

Developing presentations and other communication materials for use by recruitment team

Liaising and networking with a large range of stakeholders including colleagues, suppliers, Coventry University other departments and partner organisations

Supporting Recruitment and Marketing colleagues with ad hoc tasks

Support the team when necessary with regards to other recruitment activities and enquiries

Undertake such duties as may be specified from time to time by the Head of Sales and Marketing

Travel to other University sites, international and UK travel as required

Evening and weekend working when required to ensure the success of all activities

Profile

A degree in marketing or related subject

  • Proficiency in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
  • Good knowledge of the print process and an the ability to communicate with printers
  • Excellent design, planning co-ordinating and organising skills
  • A can-do attitude to confront problems proactively and create successful solutions
  • Able to work as part of a team or independently
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of ownership and accuracy on all work related activities
  • A creative and innovative mind-set, with a flexible and can-do attitude
  • Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy
  • A self-starter who works effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite

Job Offer

Up to £27,000 per annum plus benefits
