Your new company
Hays Accountancy and Finance are currently working with a successful organisation based between Selby and York. This interesting organisation offer a stable and pleasant working environment. Due to retirement within the business this organisation are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team.

Your new role
Within this role you will take full responsibility for the purchase ledger, you will help to prepare the management accounts and complete reconciliation work. You will be inputting payroll information and working closely with the financial controller to assist them with various duties.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will be AAT qualified or have the equivalent experience. Knowledge of SAP or Sage 200 would be beneficial. You will be a self-starter with excellent Excel knowledge. You will be able to work on your own initiative and have strong accountancy knowledge.

What you'll get in return
In return you will be working as part of a small friendly office. You will get 22 days holiday which will increase with each year of service to 25 days. You will get death in service cover. This company offers on-site parking.
