A vacancy for a full-time Wellbeing Service Worker has arisen to support delivery of Wellbeing Services in our client's Oxford City team.

Wellbeing Service Worker
Location: Wellbeing Service Hub locations across Oxford City
Hours: 37 hours per week full-time
Salary: £20,138 - £24,174 (SCP 21-27) per annum
Contract: Open Ended
Holidays: 28 days plus bank holidays (per annum)
Reporting to: Locality Team Manager

The role of the Wellbeing Service Worker is to help people better manage their own mental health and get support to stay well. Your work will include direct provision to individuals and groups of appropriate evidence based wellbeing interventions including options sessions and follow up, delivering educational and coping skills courses and helping to facilitate peer support group sessions.

The aim of this mental health charity is to promote good mental health through the provision of high quality services and campaigning for positive change. they’re here to make sure anyone with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn for advice and support.

The services they provide include:

  • Wellbeing Service of Talking Space Plus Partnership
  • Supported to Independent Living Housing Projects
  • Step 2 service of Talking Space Plus Partnership (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies service)
  • 'Benefits for Better Mental Health’ a welfare benefits advice service
  • Volunteers and Peer Mentor Support

Your work will also provide advice, options, signposting and supported onward referrals with other internal and external services and key partners.
