Conference and Events Operations Manager
My client is a beautiful 4* country house hotel in Hampshire.
Due to a large increase in business they are looking to recruit an experienced Conference and Events Operations Manager to join their busy team.
You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all the conferences and events, including weddings, dinners for up to 340 and all meetings and day to day events.
The ability to see an event through to completion, as well as possessing a good eye for detail are critical to the success of the hotel. You will be driven, focused and able to manage your workload effectively.
The role also includes maintaining stock for all back of house dry stores and assisting with the stock for the liquor outlets.
You will also be responsible for the mentoring and recruitment of the events staff, rotas and training.
Experience in a similar role within the hotel or catering industry is essential, as well as the ability to be flexible with hours and weekends - especially in peak periods.
