Our client, a sporting private members club based in Sevenoaks, is looking for a Front of House Team Member to join their successful team.

Within the role, you will be providing a friendly and personal service to members and guests. As well as assisting with the daily running of the operation, the successful Front of House Team Member will be partly responsible for overseeing small events and functions.

The successful Front of House Team Member will be reporting to the Front of House Manager.
You will be responsible for delivering excellent standards of service and operating procedures.

The ideal Front of House Team Member will have:

Experience within a high end hotel, restaurant or club environment.

Excellent customer service and communication skills, to develop a strong relationship with the members and guests.

A willingness to make a difference within a small team, bringing fresh ideas with you.

Responsibilities

* Assist in co-ordinating and delivering all services in the bar and restaurant, (casual dining, match catering, social events and private functions)

* Provide a Welcome to Members, Guests, Societies and all other visitors

* Serving food & drink to customers in a professional and courteous manner

* Build a strong relationship with the membership

* Supervise/run small external events and provide the Front of House Manager with strong support at Club functions

* Assist with ensuring the Clubhouse, including locker rooms, are maintained in a clean, suitably presented and working condition at all times.

* Assist with the handling & processing of laundering linen, towels and hand towels to fit the needs of the business.

* Ensure the daily open and close standards are completed as required.

* Accurately and efficiently deal with orders and transactions.

* Work pro-actively to maximise the efficiency of the department, particularly during quiet evening periods.

This is a full time position. You will be working a shift pattern, with hours covering 7.30am - 9pm. There are no split shifts, and flexible working is required, including bank holiday, weekend and evenings.

Salary: £18,500 plus yearly bonus & gratuities
