This OFSTED 'Good' secondary school in Leicester is seeking an ambitious and talented Humanities Teacher/NQT to join their successful Humanities Faculty for September 2017. The school is emerging as an 'upwardly mobile' centre of education, with a very positive and encouraging OFSTED grading in 2016. The Headteacher and SLT are committed to a meaningful and realistic drive towards achieving greater standards in the future, and the recruitment of further quality staff is part of this vigorous plan of improvement.

The successful candidate will be a resourceful and innovative Humanities teacher, with the ability to teach another Humanities subject as well as their own subject specialism. The Humanities Faculty consists of 7 full time teachers in various subject areas, led by the Head of Faculty. The school is both large and spacious, with recently enlarged teaching rooms and extensive facilities for enrichment and extra-curricular events. You will be required to plan and deliver high-level lessons along with your faculty colleagues, ably supported by the Head of Faculty and the SLT Line Manager. CPD provision in the school is excellent, and many staff have progressed to positions of responsibility within and outside the school.
