Job Title: Operations Supplier Manager (Partner Manager)

Location: South East/M4 corridor

Employment Type: Permanent

Role Purpose:

An integral part of the UK team, this role is responsible for the effective management of several of UK's strategic third party suppliers. The role will ensure strategic suppliers deliver to their contracted services and provide best commercial value.

Responsibilities/Accountability:

- Establish and maintain effective governanace processes and frameworks ensuring that the supplier delivers to standards
- Effective management of specified third party suppliers, managing regular reviews to ensure entirety of contractual services are delivered
- Working closely with specified third party suppliers and Client Account and Sales teams to identify joint business growth and upsell opportunities.
- Management of the third party contracted services with close tracking and approvals of expenditure with the relevant third party suppliers.
- Develop and streamline existing processes to ensure effective delivery of sub contracted services
- Generate and review regular management information and reporting on all aspects of the wider supplier function to identify trends and improvement opportunities and to inform the wider business
- Act as a point of escalation and identify a plan to develop processes to improve efficiency and service delivery of the contracted services
- Work collaboratively and align practices with the UK Clinet Management teams
- Responsibility for agreed ad hoc projects as required
- Any additional reasonable duties in line with the level and nature of the role

- Skills/Experience
- Likely to have in excess of 5 years' experience across a range of IT topics, with at least 5 years or equivalent in a management role.
- Strong commercial understanding and experience managing a P&L.
- Strong sales/influencing and negotiation experience and skills.
- A proven record of effective management of multiple teams and processes
- Significant experience managing contractual relationships with third party suppliers
- Must be able to demonstrate a solid understanding and effective working knowledge of the contracted services and best practice for managing 3rd party vendors
- Previous experience in implementing new processes
- Proven influencing of problem solving
- Must be able to demonstrate effective stakeholder management
- An ability to take ownership and act in a timely way to reach successful conclusions
- A passion for high standards, professionalism, integrity, gaining and maintaining a respected profile through the business
- Proven experience at managing multiple projects via effective planning & time management skills
- IT skills to support working effectively in an electronic environment
- Flexibility required to travel to other UK sites as required. Occasional travel required to other UK locations with prior notice Any relevant management qualification
