Salary/Rate: £65,000 - £70,000/annum Extensive - bonus and relocation

Location: Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire

Site Engineering Maintenance and Reliability Manager (Chemicals / COMAH Plant)

Salary: £65 - 70k plus comprehensive package, bonus and relocation

My client is a global chemicals company with a large manufacturing/ processing site in North Lincolnshire. This globally admired business provides numerous products and services for a variety of industries used every day, globally! With multi-billion sales revenue with several thousand colleagues working across the world. This facility on the Humber is the largest of its kind in Europe. It is a top Tier COMAH site with genuine investment and growth plans.

Due to an internal promotion, aligned with a sizeable multi-million budget to apply to site assets, we have an exciting and high profile opportunity to join as the site Maintenance and Reliability Manager. You will provide leadership of up to 8 direct and 40+ indirect reports across maintenance, mechanical/electrical/I&E and frontline engineering teams.

Implement and execute engineering maintenance and reliability programmes

Drive Continuous Improvement programmes in reliability effectiveness

Drive down business costs by developing and executing reliability improvement programmes

Mentoring, managing and developing engineers at all levels from operational to professional

Responsible for the implementation of the CMMS /SAP system improvements through ongoing data capture on site assets

Who are you?

Degree qualification is essential, ideally chartered or working towards, preferably in Mechanical Engineering

Experience in developing and executing effective asset care maintenance management programmes

A natural inspirational leader of people

Proven Management Experience as a departmental manager, a highly experienced and accomplished manager

Project Management within multi-disciplinary teams

Commercially aware, understanding and extensive experience of controlling budgets

Proven track record of implementing and managing World Class Manufacturing techniques such as RCM, TPM and Six Sigma.

Chemical industry experience is strongly preferred, as well as Top Tier COMAH site experience. Process, Oil and Gas and Heavy engineering backgrounds may also suit
