Our Plastics packaging client are looking to appoint a Process Development Manager, with prior experience in plastic moulding / plastics packaging manufacturing. An excellent opportunity offering job satisfaction & security. EXPIRES 28/04/17

Purpose of the role:

You will be responsible for the control & management of all plant based & projects, the technical development & managing NPD / NPI & incorporating processes, systems & CAPEX, and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the plant. The management and control of all site based and customer facing projects

You will be responsible for ensuring all projects meet deliverable time frames, on time and in budget & ensuring all legislation is met.


- To help improve the business through system development
- To support both factory and sales teams as required to meet the demands of the business
- To review previous CI initiatives and to recommend and then implement an efficient system
- To work with the operations team to seek ways to reduce the current production costs
- To support the management of production to ensure quality, delivery and cost standards are achieved.
- Provide support to the Operations Manager and deputise as and when required.


- To comply with all company rules, regulations and procedures at all times and promote good working practices throughout the workforce.

Person Specification:

- HNC / HND or Degree in Engineering, Technical or Design degree
- Minimum of 4 years' experience as part of a senior management team
- Project management experience involving multi million pound capital spend
- Proven management of change experience
- Customer facing experience at senior level
- Good working knowledge of ISO 9001
