Our client is currently seeking an experienced, outgoing and organised Conference and Banqueting Manager to join their ever growing 3 star, AA Rosette winning, purpose built modern hotel based between Dorchester and Yeovil.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and very polished Conference and Banqueting Manager who will strive to surpass the high standards which this thriving hotel holds at its core as a popular wedding destination.

The Role:

As Conference and Banqueting Manager, you will be solely responsible for all conference, banqueting and function bookings from first client meetings to the running of the event.

In addition to this you will;
* Manage the day to day floor operations of the Conference and Banqueting rooms
* Manage the delivery of services in the C&B rooms
* Ensure to deliver exceptional standard of customer care throughout
* Ensure all functions are executed at the highest of levels
* Excellent management of your staff by ensuring they are delivering excellent customer service and are dressed correctly
* Weekly/Monthly reporting

What you need:

With regular functions being held for up to 350 people, along with this hotel being a very popular wedding destination, it is imperative the right candidate will have the following skills and experience to undertake this role.

* Strong experience as a Conference and Banqueting Manager is essential
* Excellent customer service & communication skills
* Experience managing staff and ideally will have recruitment and training of conference & banqueting staff experience
* Impeccable attention to detail & ability to think on your feet and adapt to change quickly
* Ability to multi-task, using your initiative and work independently
* Will have a 'can-do' attitude and immaculate presentation
