Are you eager to learn, ambitious and enthusiastic? Fancy earning great rewards without the huge commute? If so, read on.

Premium Credit is the leading insurance premium finance company in the UK and Ireland. Due to team expansion, we are now looking for a Junior .NET Developer to join our Change Scrum Team.

Although insurance finance isn’t the most glamorous sector, financial systems are at the cutting edge of development and you will have the chance to work on some incredible innovations. You’ll be learning and working with the best on the kind of secretive projects that do not get passed to agencies and so you’ll benefit from inside information long before the rest of the industry.

As such, this role represents an amazing chance to extend your skills and abilities, learn from outstanding colleagues and work with the latest and best technologies.

As a Junior .NET Developer, you will play a key role within an Agile based model that is new to Premium Credit this year and comes with plenty of opportunities to help shape and grow the working environment around you.

Joining a team of three Developers, you will be tasked with developing, enhancing and supporting our systems. Technology is at the heart of everything we do at Premium Credit and so you will be a vital part of our success as we move forward.

Specifically, you will take part in the analysis and documentation of technical requirements and specification documents, write, review and unit test code and assist with the release of software into production.

Additionally, your role will involve:

- Building a good understanding of applications that are owned by the Change Scrum Team
- Documenting and resolving production problems
- Working across our development lifecycle within other technology and project areas devising plans, and ensuring work is undertaken in a structured, controlled manner
- Providing some out-of-hours cover as requested to support your other work

Interested? If so, you will need:

- Experience of transactional and e-business based applications
- Experience of working on Microsoft .NET based applications in C# and SQL Server
- Experience in Agile development
- Experience in automated testing tools such as Nunit

It would also be amazing if you have experience in using CI tools to implement automated builds and deployments, experience in developing on CMS tools, ideally Sitecore, and experience in using TFS for task management, Source Control and CI. However, none of these are essential.
