Residential Site Manager
We have been selected to partner with one of the most successful Residential Contractors, with an enviable project track record and extremely healthy project pipeline in the North East. This company with over 100 years experience and revenue of over £100 million is looking to add an Assistant Site Manager to their ever growing production team. They are currently involved with multiple projects in the North East including residential units finished to a very high standard.
*Requisition and management of materials/delivery
*Issue subcontractors with regular short term programmes to ensure planned progress is achieved
*Assisting the Site Manager on hold progress meetings
*Display on site an up to date copy of the construction programme indicating the progress to date
*Induct new started on site and ensure they have a relevant CSCS card and have a full understanding of the health and safety policies and procedures
*Give full consideration to the tender allowances when establishing the site compound
*Manage Trades and subcontractors
*Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety aspects
*Obtain risk assessments and method statements from contractors prior to work commencement
*Handle all customer care issues in a timely and professional manor
What we are looking for:
*5 years+ experience in the industry
*Good eye for detail
*Be able to interpret construction drawings and designs
*Strong management skills
*Able to push and drive subcontractors
*Excellent organisational skills
*Good level of IT literacy
The successful candidate will also have a sound knowledge of Health & Safety on site and have good technical and commercial awareness. In addition, you MUST hold a relevant CSCS card, SMSTS, and valid First Aid.
