Head of Maintenance Services, Direct Maintenance
Salary Circa £75,000 per annum depending on experience plus £1,300pa Essential Car User Allowance*

My client is a G15 Housing Association and is looking for a new Head of Maintenance for their DLO
My clients Direct Maintenance continues to expand both its services and geography and are now looking for a Head of Maintenance Services to take ownership of the operational service, improve customer satisfaction whilst delivering value for money services.
The correct candidate will take strategic and operational ownership for the service, improving customer satisfaction, maintaining contractor compliance and reducing delivery costs. You will ensure that Direct Maintenance meets its business plan targets, continually reviewing and developing the service whilst considering opportunities for expansion and improvement.
Your ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders will enable you to make the best use of the client's resources and support the wider property management strategy. As a people manager you will attract and retain the best people and ensure that the Direct Maintenance team have the skills, knowledge and experience to meet the current and the future needs of the business.
Through your passion for customer service you will lead the transition to the new service whilst delivering improvements in resident satisfaction and reducing complaints. You will take responsibility for ensuring that the highest levels of Health & Safety standards and practices are embraced and that risks are fully understood and managed.
You will have experience of working at a strategic level delivering high quality buildings and/ or housing maintenance service, with the commercial and financial acumen to manage a substantial budget. You will also be able to lead, manage and motivate others to deliver against defined objectives in a demanding customer facing environment, including the management of contracts and relationships with subcontractors.
