Engineering & Reliability Manager (Mechanical)

Salary/Rate: £60 – 70k Band plus comprehensive package, bonus and relocation

Location: North Lincolnshire

Our client is a Global chemicals /process company operating from a Top Tier COMAH site. As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, we are recruiting an enthusiastic, self-motivated Mechanical Engineering Manager in Reliability Engineering, a senior technical leadership position.

Reporting to the Site Technical Manager and tasked with the development and delivery of the operational Asset Care strategy in your area through the reduction of unplanned losses and improvement of the asset life cycle. You will be responsible for the reliability and improvement of mechanical assets

You will be responsible for the identification and implementation of RCM and RCA strategies to ensure the achievement of on-site asset care targets

Responsible for the implementation of World Class Optimised Maintenance Strategies, driving the lowest cost solutions for reliability across the site through effective predictive and preventative maintenance strategies

Responsible for root cause analysis, championing and managing corrective actions through your teams of engineers

Implementing Engineering improvement procedures and standards across all assets within the engineering function, supporting the development of the maintenance teams

Identify and deliver CAPEX related maintenance improvements

Mentoring, developing and managing a large team of engineers

The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in driving reliability improvements and asset care optimisation strategies through engineering teams within a busy manufacturing environment, having successfully applied continuous improvement tools and problem solving techniques.

Qualified to at least degree level in Mechanical or Reliability Engineering, Asset Care Competence or an appropriate engineering discipline along with skills and experience in RCM, FMECA and predictability tools and techniques.

Heavy Engineering / Process or Chemicals Industries are preferred, although FMCG background may also be suitable

People management experience gained within in a fast paced or continuous manufacturing process environment. A Highly career focussed and achievement orientated Mechanical Engineer
