The Contracts Manager role requires analysing the performance of Sub-Contractors ensuring the company’s high service standards are maintained and improved upon, as well as being responsible for contract tendering and negotiation with suppliers. There is a large amount of stakeholder management with this role, you will have ownership of supply chain performance and will work closely with the organisation’s help desk.
Candidates must demonstrate a successful track record in managing sub-contractors including contract tendering experience, the ability to work on a ‘macro’ and ‘micro’ level (the big picture and an eye for detail will be important in this role.) Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exemplary relationship building skills and excellent organisational skills are essential to this role. Applicants will have gained contracts / supply chain experience in high customer service orientated environments (retail/hospitality/aviation etc.) and blue chip best practice organisations where ‘high standards’ have been the ‘norm’. You must have the gravitas to hit the ground running.
