Our client, a global automotive manufacturer with an iconic brand, has made available a contract post for an Automotive Problem Solving Project Manager to be based at their Gaydon location, offering up to £24 per hour (limited or umbrella company contractor basis).

Key Responsibilities of the Automotive Problem Solving Project Manager

  • Lead Conventional Oxidation Catalyst (CoC) problem solving coach (QSFs, White Alerts, PVT issues requiring technical assistance)
  • Lead Quality Level 4 Reporting for CoC
  • Lead CoC Quality Sufficiency Planning (r/1000 and customer surveys)
  • Represent CoC in Forward Model AIMs Start-up meetings and drive progression of FM AIMs
  • Support `Engineering Quality’ skills capability development
  • Support Standards development
  • Support Foundation DFMEA development

Qualifications and Experience required for the Automotive Problem Solving Project Manager

  • Holds a valid UK Driver's licence
  • 6 Sigma Black Belt Team and/or project leadership Training delivery and/or coaching
  • Educated to degree level

Key Skills of the Automotive Problem Solving Project Manager

  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Use of Microsoft software
  • Has proven problem capability
  • Is self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision across several workstreams concurrently
