Together they`re taking energy further.Associate Buyer Responsibilities:This is a junior position in which the successful candidate will assist the Manufacturing Planner to ensure goods and services are procured at the right price, at the right time, quantities & specification, to the right place, in line with customer requirements. Your responsibilities will also include:• Placing, chasing, expediting, cancelling and deferring purchase orders to ensure a high level of service delivery to internal Nalco Champion customers.• Maintaining product price where necessary and notifying the relevant department of any changes when the confirmation is received. • Maintaining administration systems within the buying function including, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders.• Accumulating and analysing reports using computer based programs to drive the operational and management aspects of the role.• Liaising with internal departments where necessary to ensure customer needs are understood and addressed.• Obtaining and maintaining a high level of SAP skills.• Maintaining a suite of procedures and workplace instructions in support of job description, departmental, and organisational goals.• Liaising with Finance Department and external suppliers to validate product supply invoice queries where applicable.• Performing job function in accordance with Nalco Champion QHSE policies and procedures.The ideal Associate Buyer:To be successful for this Associate Buyer position, you will be educated to GCSE standard with minimum level of A-C in Maths and English or equivalent.
