We are seeking a self-motivated and highly competent Manager to lead and continue the development of the invaluable support our volunteers offer. Our vision is to have one workforce where our 'people' are managed, supported and developed within the respective teams to maximise their potential and to ensure they are truly valued.

We have in excess of 1000 volunteers who do great work yet have so much more to offer the Hospice whether this is in the Retail arm or to support front line services. To achieve this we need to continually evolve our strategy and the successful candidate will demonstrate leadership to drive the volunteering mission forward. In linking with the broader community the post holder will ensure we are proactive and creative in recruiting and retaining great people and will support managers in maximising volunteers' potential and engagement.

This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to inspire people to get involved with our work. The successful candidate will be passionate about our mission and have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team, be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.

This is a part-time role 30 Hours per week.
