PERMANENT FULL-TIME PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR IN THE CALNE AREA WANTED!!!

EXPERIENCED PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR NEED FOR A BUSY ROLE IN CALNE PAYING A SALARY BETWEEN £18K AND £20K DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.

LOCATION: CALNE WILTSHIRE


WORKING HOURS: 9.00AM TO 5.00PM - ROTA 8.00AM TO 4.00PM FLEX- MONDAY TO FRIDAY 

28 DAYS HOLIDAYS & MILEAGE ALLOWANCE 


After another successful year this Client is looking for staff to join the professional accountancy practice’s payroll bureau as they continue to grow. They have a new vacancy for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join the team at the Calne office.

A background in practice or payroll bureau would be preferable as the successful applicant will be managing multiple weekly and monthly payrolls. You will be responsible for the full end to end payroll processing for our expanding client base. Payroll duties include the full year end requirements, P11D reporting, CIS submissions and Pension Administration. Another key function is to provide basic HR advice and support to clients where it relates to payroll (e.g. family legislation and working hours).

The successful candidate must have at least three years’ experience and be competent in the use of Sage 50 Payroll and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel. You will possess technical payroll ability, a keen eye for detail and be able to work effectively as part of a high performing team.
Applicants must also possess excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills and have the confidence to liaise with clients and outside agencies such as HMRC.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines whilst keeping their sense of humour. We also ask for flexibility in working hours during peak periods. Candidates should note that a full driving licence and use of a car during the working week is required, as you may be visiting clients at their premises, or representing the company at other meetings.

Working a 40 hour week Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm although you may be asked to take part in an 8 – 4.00pm rota. There is 28 days holiday entitlement inc Bank holidays. Some occasions whereby you will be asked to work in different local locations so ability to travel is a must but mileage will be paid and your vehicle must have insurance for this cover for occasional business use. The salary is £18k - £20K DOE.
