My Client is looking for a Accounts Administrator, the salary is up to £21,000 per annum, ideally you will have financial services background.

Job Purpose

To provide high quality, effective administration and processing of complex cash allocation, onvoice verification and legal escalations

Job Duties

  • Ensure all incoming cash receipts are allocated correctly

  • Ensure all complex cash allocations are completed

  • Ensure all inidentified unallocated cash is escalated to the customer

  • Ensure that activity on each individual clients ledger is balanced

  • Plan, organise, prioritise and manage own workload including problem solving

  • Process correspondance from clients and their customers

  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients at all times

  • Any other duties as and when required, support other members of the team

Person Specification

  • Good general standard of education
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
  • Minimum of 6 months experience gained within the invoice finance industry, or substantial experience of undertaking reconciliation work
  • Experience of setting up, maintaining and developing administrative systems and processes
  • Good administrative skills (including IT skills)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload, and to manage conflicting deadlines.
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, both internal and external
  • Ability to research, analyse and collate information, seeking out the most important data and presenting the options
  • Good numeracy skills and ability to interpret financial data
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to establish positive working relationship
