Great opportunity for a Senior Engineer looking to get into a Mechanical Project Management position. Joining a tier 1 M&E sub-contractor based in Central London. Paying between £50,000-60,000 with package.

My client are a tier 1 M&E sub-contractor with a UK turnover in access of £150m. They operate in multiple sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare and infrastructure including airports and rail. My client have over 10 offices around the UK with this position operating from their office in Central London.

As the Mechanical Project Manager you will be joining the team on a high end residential shell and core project. The project is based in Central London and due to last up to 3 years. During the Project you will get all the necessary experience in preparation for running your own larger projects come completion. You will be reporting to the M&E Senior Project Manager with a Mechanical Engineer reporting directly to you.

As the Mechanical Project Manager your duties will include:

·Taking responsibility of the entire mechanical packages for the shell and core including: lighting, cables, power and lifts

·Managing the mechanical team throughout the project

·Meeting full client requirements and compliance

·Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager and work alongside them to ensure the project is running on time and within budget

In order to apply for the role of Project Manager you will have:

·Previously been the lead on a project with an mechanical package value of £5-6m

·Experience in following client requirements

·Experience of following compliance documents as well as site Health and Safety regulations

·The ability of reading mechanical designs

·A desire to want to step up and become a Mechanical Project Manager

·Come from a background of working on the tools or have qualifications such as ONC, HNC, OND, HND or degree
