This is an opportunity to earn an exponential salary whilst working for a Multi-Million-pound provider of facilities services into the education, retail, property, corporate, finance, insurance, distribution, travel, transport and manufacturing markets. The business is investing heavily in the division following an excellent growth period. You will be focused on bringing new business revenue you will grow year on year. Example clients include: educational clientele, public sector, property managing agents, financial institutions and varied industry operators with large property / asset portfolios. The role is recognised within the business as a spring board for promotion within the business and therefore they are keen to employ an ambitious individual who has the drive and business acumen to be progressed within the business.

Role Responsibilities:

- Responsibility for implementing a sales growth strategy
- Growth of the division with a national remit, growing outwards as the division develops
- Ensuring your on-going training and career development to ensure an improving, competent and up to date skill set and competency level within both the technical knowledge element of the role and senior level sales skills and management skills
- Geographically covering the Midlands and North
- Prospecting new business
- Carry out surveys of prospective or existing client's premises and prepare costing and tenders and establish in detail prospective client's needs
- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers
- Attending networking functions
- Working with colleagues to ensure cross selling opportunities are maximised, working on national tenders as a specialist in your area
- Commercial acumen and an understanding of viability of business
- Champion positive customer oriented culture through all areas of the business

The successful candidate should have the ability to exercise their role in the pursuit of achievement of the group strategy. In addition to this the role requires the capacity to understand and meet customer expectations where staffing ability is concerned.

Person and Skills Required:

- Understanding of Cleaning Services
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and technology
- Financially astute
- Ability to meet targets
- Demonstrable commercial acumen
- Integrity and openness
- Previous experience of networking blue chip clientele including but not limited to: Critical National Infrastructure, Industry, Transport, Property Managing Agents, Retail and Energy
- Self-motivated
- Strong communication skills at all levels
- BICS Certificate advantageous but not essential
