A small,family owned developer in Bedfordshire are looking for a Technical Coordinator to join their team.
This profitable company are in the fortunate position of being able to pick and choose the projects they undertake and our client undertake quality, high end schemes rather than volume housing.
You will enjoy being involved from pre planning stage through to completion on interesting, local schemes
This is a new role within the company
The role Technical Co-ordinator
You will essentially be providing the technical co ordination support for the business and will be dealing with all technical issues involved in housing schemes from pre-commencement works through to completion on site. You will be assisting in moving the schemes forward. Duties will include:
- Providing the site teams with technical information and the coordination of various service providers across their sites
- Commissioning and coordinating the checking of specialist suppliers designs and preparing specifications for quotations.
- Co-ordinating with Architects and Consultants.
You will be office and site based working 8:30-5:30
You will be working predominantly within the Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire areas and will have at least two schemes running concurrently and others in various planning stages.
The right person
You will have experience working for developer or architect as a Technical Co-ordinator or in a similar role
You will have some form of construction qualification.
You will be capable of dealing with issues raised both pre and post planning as well as working with Architects and other Consultants to complete the construction phase of developments.
You will be commercially aware.
The salary/ package
£25-40,000 + car or allowance, pension, Bupa, bonus, 20 days holiday + Christmas shut down + bank holidays
